Scope of Service Experience
|
Dave, one of the most experienced and respected commercial real estate brokers in the Southern Nevada real estate market, was a founding member of the NAI Global Las Vegas team.
Over several years, Dave has bought, developed, managed, and sold several projects. In 2006 Dave sold projects totaling more than $50 million in transaction value. Some notable transactions include the Rodeo Paradise project at Flamingo and Paradise. Currently a retail center, Rodeo Paradise is scheduled to become one of the new mixed-use high-rise developments in Las Vegas.
Dave, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, has been involved in the real estate industry since 1978, when he earned his bachelor of arts in business administration from the University of Las Vegas. From 1980 until 1985, he was Senior Leasing Specialist for Realty Holding Group, responsible for the leasing of more than one million square feet of commercial properties. He was a partner in The Commercial Group from 1985 to 1992, helping the firm grow from three to more than 20 agents. In 1993, Dave formed a joint venture entity, servicing the retail, office, and industrial markets. Now known as First Commercial Real Estate Services, it became one of the largest commercial real estate companies in the state.
As the needs of his clients changed and in order to focus his efforts, Dave formed Commercial West Realty Advisors in 1994. After more than seven years as principle of Commercial West Realty Advisors, Dave merged his talents with NAI Horizon to become Senior Vice President of Retail. Through his company, Commercial West Development, Dave has been actively involved in the development and ownership of more than 1,000,000 square feet of retail shopping centers in the Las Vegas area for more than 20 years. A few of these are Rodeo Paradise, Placid Corners, Flamingo Swenson, Buffalo & Washington Lowes Center, Alamosa, and Trop Topaz. He developed from the ground up, had ownership, and sold the Flamingo Swenson Center, the Lowes pad at Buffalo & Washington (Ground Lease), and the Anchor (Hispanic Food Market) at Trop Topaz (Sold the whole center). Some of the more notable properties Dave has owned and sold are Rodeo Paradise, Warm Springs & Placid, and Flamingo Swenson. He and his wife, Lori, reside in the Las Vegas Valley with their daughter, Shauna.
